Thank you, Vancouver-ites and visitors, for making the second VanCAF even better than the first. It was wonderful to get to hang out with so many awesome, talented artists this past weekend. (Both here at home and then in Seattle on Monday when I was driving folks down to the airport.) And it's very gratifying to hear how much everyone seems to like the show. Shannon puts a ton of work into it, so I'm glad it shows!

In other news: A bunch of the creators of The Neverhood -- including artist Doug Tennapel and musician Terry S. Taylor -- are kickstarting a new claymation point-and-click adventure game! If that doesn't sell you immediately, go check out the preview clip in their kickstarter video. It looks amazing... which is no surprise, since there's some great talent behind it.

VanCAF this weekend!

Just a quick note today, since it's the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival tomorrow, and I'm spending most of today running around picking up cartooning friends from the airport!

Short form sales pitch: If you're in the Vancouver area this weekend... come to VanCAF! It's going to be a heck of a show, and it's totally free to attend. (Although there are some pretty spiffy VIP packages if you're interested.)
