Ambition

Hello, friends! Time to kick off a brand new week with an extra-long comic. Woo!

My progress in The Witness has been kind of slow because I've been working a bunch, but last night I finally activated the 11th laser. I think I still have a decent chunk of game ahead of me at this point. But I gotta say, it's really shaping up to be one of the best puzzle games -- or games of any kind, honestly -- that I've ever played. Every time I think I've seen the Witness's slickest trick, it throws another surprise at me. Honestly, it's just an immaculately designed experience from top to bottom. I heartily recommended it to anyone who isn't driven into a frothing fury by puzzle games.

Come back on Wednesday for our next comic! This next chunk of the story is a part I'm particularly excited about. Can't wait to dig into it!

Candice

Candice was, of course, a staple figure of the comic's Classic era! If you've never read those strips, worry not... you're going to learn everything you need to know right here in this chapter. (And if you have read those strips, prepare to learn things you never knew before!)

That said, if you would like to read those strips, you can do so either here on the site on in the giant and pretty Sam and Fuzzy Omnibus! (Or it's ebook equivalent.) It is not mandatory. It's just fun!

Whew! If y'all don't mind, I think I'm going to take a break from the usual Q and A feature this week. (Just feeling a little exahusted tonight!) It will return next week in full force, scout's honour.

And so will comics! Our next strip arrives on Monday. BE HERE FOR IT.

Rhymes with Borscht

Oh yeah... that lady!

In other news, I have decided to resurrect my woefully neglected tumblr! The truth is, there's some work that I'm reluctant to yammer on about too much here on the the Sam and Fuzzy site -- either because it's totally unrelated to the comic (like random pop culture and fan art pieces), or because it's a little less "all-ages" (like the pin-up art). I wanted to make a home for all that stuff, where readers can enjoy or ignore it as they see fit. And for now, my tumblr shall be it!

I love drawing Sam and Fuzzy comics, but I draw lots of other kinds of work as well... and I don't think I've always done the best job of actually advertising that fact on the internet. This is probably a dumb move for someone who A) makes a decent part of his living doing private commissions and B) has a Patreon partially focused around sharing that broader work! Whoops.

Whenever I do share it, people seem to really enjoy it! And if you've ever seen me at a convention, you know I always make it a big part of my booth. Maybe 2016 is the year I'll get a little better about it posting it here on the wubs, too. We'll see!
