Pow!

Comics!

We return on Friday, with our next strip and a new round of Q and A. Just shoot me an email with "Q and A" in the subject line if you've got a question you'd like me to tackle. I've been getting a lot of extremely specific Sam and Fuzzy plot and character-related questions lately, but questions about art, technique, or comics in general are all OK too. It doesn't all have to be about Devahi's favourite colour or Sam's shoe size.

(Although now I suppose I've pretty much guaranteed that it will be.)

Work work work

Productivity time! Today, I have to put the finishing touches on our two new t-shirt designs for the fall season. (And as you probably would have guessed, I couldn't resist basing one of them on a certain socially-inept vampire.) They won't be available to buy for a little while yet, but I'll give you all a preview of them closer to their actual launch dates!

In the meantime, consider some of our other fine swag! There are a wide variety of t-shirts already over in the Topatoco store, and exciting buttons and Skull Panda books here on the Sam and Fuzzy site. You are a unique and discerning individual. Express that individuality by purchasing these pre-existing commercial products!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Song and Dance Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"Will you ever be coming out to Australia? I'm feeling kind of lonely over here." -Jonathan

I'm not sure! I mean, never say never... but I'm not sure if there's a show down under that would be lucrative enough for me to cover the cost of that kind of travel expense. Still, I've mailed a surprisingly large number of books to readers down your way... it would be pretty cool to finally meet some of them!

"I was wondering if anyone had ever made a song about Sam and Fuzzy or any part of its lore? Because if not, I would like to officially call 'dibs.'" -Steve

Consider yourself dibbed! (Or whatever.) As far as I know, no one has ever written a song about Sam and Fuzzy... not even me, back when I used to do that kind of thing.

Oh, wait! That's not quite true. I wrote the full lyrics and chords for Noosehead's "I Will Eat Your Family", with the intention of making a full recording of it some day! Jeph was going to record the guitar part for me when he had some free time, but... uh... that was about four years ago. So don't hold your breath!

"[When Edwin bit that guy,] how do we end up with a werewolf? Of all the mythical creatures why that?" -Carrie

What, you mean like a minotaur or something? Come on. That would be silly.

That's all for this week. See you on Monday!
