Problems, Pt. 8

I kind of laughed at the sparks that spread the flames

Almost everybody who ordered the Noosehead/Cannibal Pride t-shirt two-pack has emailed me back to let me know what colour of Cannibal shirt they wanted. However, there are still a couple of folks who have not. Please, if you ordered the two pack, drop me an email. I can't have your shirts mailed until I do! Sorry about the hassle, it is entirely my fault.

The new book goes to the printers tomorrow! And soon, they are going to be handing me a bill with a large scary number on it. So, the more preorders I can get before the weekend, the better!

At least now I can show you some previews of the cool stuff I've put into this thing. First, we have the hyped-up wrap-around cover. One pre-orderer will be recieving the original artwork for this. As for everyone else, you'll have to make due with this computerized version. This is what the actual cover itself will look like, except that I have removed the title logo so you can see the full picture:

Second, there is the bonus story. I'm incredibly pleased with how it turned out... I got to use a story idea I had wanted to use online earlier this year, but ultimate skipped because I thought it would slow down the overall pace of the bigger story arc too much. Rikk, Butcher and Alphonso all make appearances, and we learn exactly what happened to Earl when he tried to remove those cats from Sidney's trailer. Here are a few random images pulled from the story:

I think this is good stuff. At the very least, it's some of my own best work. I hope you all enjoy it!

In addition to selling through the website, I will also have the book available at this year's San Diego Comic-con. It's shaping up to be one heck of a convention... not only will we be a stone's throw from Dumbrella, Penny Arcade, Flight, and Blank Label Comics, but we'll also be just a few metres away from my cartooning hero, Steve F**king Purcell!

How hot is that? That is hot!

This is a brand new problem, a problem without any clues

Sorry about the rather desperate message displaying above today's comic. Unfortunatley I slipped up on the colour-selector coding, and as a result, Paypal did not record the colour of Cannibal Pride tshirt selected by anyone who ordered the Noosehead/Cannibal two-pack.

If you ordered the two-pack, please email me and let me know what colour you wanted. (But if you did not order the two pack, don't worry, the colour you selected was recorded. Only the two-packs are missing information.)

Sorry about the hassle, team. This shouldn't result in more than a day-or-two's delay in getting the shirts printed and mailed out, but I still feel bad about it. Thank you so much for your patience!

Pressure builds till it breaks the dome

So, did you hear about what is happening to Spider-man? (In the comics, at least.) It's pretty bizarre, even in the world of desperate comic book sales stunts. If you don't mind having the events of Civil War issue two spoiled for you, you can click here and see for yourself. Newsarama was nice enough to hide the information behind a spoiler warning. I wish I could say the same for most other news sources. Yeesh! Anyhow, I actually think this has the potential to spark some pretty interesting stories, but I imagine it will be retconned out of existence long before they do. Such is the way of most super hero "shockers," after all!

Today is really, truly the last day to order a t-shirt two pack, a Skull Panda Head shirt, an I'm Capitalism shirt, a non-green Cannibal Pride shirt, or a hoodie or babydoll in any design. I know not all of those things are listed in the banner graphic above (there wasn't really enough room), so I'm running the full list in this space instead!
