One of my new years resolutions for 2007 is to be better about responding to my emails. There was a time when I would respond to every single one! But at some point, it all became too much. I still read them all, sure, but I started putting off my responses. I kept telling myself that at some point, I'd go back and answer all the ones I'd put on hold.

But that was a long time ago, and now I have a stockpile of emails so old and so immense that there would be no point in even trying to reply to them all. And that makes me feel bad, because I love getting emails from readers, and I don't want to discourage that by ignoring them.

So, it's time for a fresh start. Really fresh. Today fresh. From this point on, I'm going to try to respond to ever email that seems like it needs a response. And I'm going to try to do this right away, every week, so that I can keep ahead of the onslaught and make sure I don't wind up with another pile too intimidating to deal with.

This is my resolution! I think I can go without breaking it for, oh, at least two weeks. I will do my best. Go team!

Save point

Scott Pilgrim is the business. It meshes amazing energetic artwork with a charmingly bizarre story that's one half character drama and one half video-game boss fight. But do you know what? I don't even have to tell you why it's good! You can just see for yourself by checking out one of the many free online previews. Scott Pilgrim: it's what's for dinner.

In other news, I have eleven different t-shirt designs on sale right now. Isn't that insane? I think it's probably too many for me to afford to keep in constant stock. I'm going to have to make some hard choices and retire a design or two soon.

Or maybe I should retire all of them! Maybe it's time to start imposing my nudist agenda first hand.

(No, that last part wasn't serious. It was only a joke. You can tell because I'm laughing, and I always laugh at my own jokes.)

Destino

Ever wonder what would have happened if Walt Disney and Salvador Dali had teamed up on an animated short?

That's a rhetorical question, by the way. I mean, I'm not actually expecting any of you to have ever wondered that. And if you have... I'm not sure I want to know what else you've been wondering about! But either way, Dali and Disney did collaborate (sort of), and you can see it happen right here on the internet! More info about the cartoon and it's history can be found here.

Something I should have mentioned ages ago is that Claire and I bought ourselves a Wii back when it launched in November. If you've got one too, hit up this thread in the forum so that you can post your friend code and start having weird-looking Mii versions of Sam and Fuzzy characters showing up in your Mii parade. (And by extension, in the audiences of your Wii Sports games. Nothing is creepier than having a human-sized Fuzzy cheering you on!)
