He's a true genius, really.

We return on Friday with a new comic, and a brand new Friday Q and A column! If you've got a question you'd like me to answer, just pop it in an email with "Q and A" in the subject line. (Or tweet it at me.) See you then, team!

Bark bark

Conscience Cat and Dr. Crab have not teamed up in quite some time. Glad to see it's still going about as well as it ever did.

Come back on Wednesday for our next comic, team!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A:  Collected Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"I was curious as to how many post-saga strips are likely to be released before they are eventually compiled into another book, or if that was ever going to happen in the first place." -John

Oh, there will definitely be another book, don't you worry! The first post-saga S&F universe book will probably be called Inhuman Relations, and it will include Jess Star's Christmas Miracle, Cult Classic, Inhuman Relations, Whether Permitting, as well as a few more chapters still to come.  (Whether Permitting is actually the first chapter... I drew them out of order because I am eccentric!)

Although those stories have been relatively stand alone so far, there's a larger narrative -- relating to the untimely demise of Fidgital -- that will tie them all together nicely into a single book.

There will also be a follow up book to Vote Dog in the future! That one will collect things like Loafin' Around, Pet Sounds, The Fresh Loaf Rides Again, and our current President Dog story.

"The dog *caught* the squirrel? Is this something that usually happens?" -Matt
Well, not if you're Baker the corgi! But some dogs are definitely better at it than others. In President Dog's case, I think successfully catching a squirrel would be another sign of his growing bad behaviour. (Even if it wasn't a squirrel that caused a diplomatic incident.

"Why do you draw so many comics about dogs? This isn't a complaint, I like them! I was just curious. Butcher showed up very early in Sam and Fuzzy, but dogs were barely a thing in the comic for a long time, and now they are everywhere!" -Sean

This is probably not a particularly surprising answer, but what happened was... I got a dog! I never had a dog as a kid. I actually never lived with a dog before at all until around 8 years ago. But once I got one, boy... did I ever become a Dog Person. You know what I'm talking about. One of those people. I love my dogs so, so much. Augh! DOGS!

That's all for this week, team! But come back on Monday for our next comic.
